The Great Cluster in Hercules

M13 is one of the most spectacular examples of a Globular Cluster. It is definitely the best from my mid-northern-hemisphere location. In the 1970s messages were sent to M13 in early attempts to contact any alien civilisations that may be listening. Here is my latest image of this object.
